Anatomy of a shoot
No gym backdrop. We set up where he plays, with the dirt, the plate, and the stadium lights behind him.
We pose him the way he really stands at the plate, so the photo looks like him and not a catalog kid.
A bat flip, a laugh, a little swagger. The loose moments are usually the ones parents frame.
Then the one for Grandma: standing tall, cap straight, jersey number showing.
A change of scene in the same session. The dugout bench gives a completely different feel.
We finish tight on his face. The frame that ends up as the phone wallpaper.
Every frame counts
Kids don't hold still, and that's the point. We shoot in bursts, so the ball at the top of the toss, the grin halfway through, and the eye roll at the end all make it into the gallery.

On your own field. We bring the lights and set up at your diamond anywhere in the Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, Star, Kuna and Caldwell. We have photographed youth rec leagues, travel teams and high school programs, and the Idaho Hype shoots on this page were taken at Memorial Stadium in Boise.
Every athlete gets individual portraits in a few poses, such as batting stance, bat on the shoulder, glove and a close-up, plus a team photo. Buddy photos, dugout shots and panoramic team banners can be added. Galleries are delivered within one week of picture day.
On a standard photo day, families only pay for the photos they love, ordered from an online gallery. For teams that want every athlete covered up front, our media day is a flat $40 per athlete and includes every digital image of that athlete.
Plan on about 20 athletes for us to come to your field. Smaller teams can join another team's session or combine with other teams in the same league.
Yes. We shoot and print senior fence banners, panoramic varsity team banners and travel ball team banners with sponsor logos. Eagle High's Class of 2025 baseball banner was printed 20 feet wide.
Yes. Softball gets the same on-field setup and the same delivery. We have photographed rec softball in Kuna, and Owyhee softball's team banner became the wrap on the charter bus that took them to the state tournament, which they won.
